Iffel International has officially announced yesterday that the business is now a full service 4PL. Initially defined by Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), “the concept of a fourth-party logistics (4PL) is an integrator that assembles the resources, capabilities, and technology of its own organization and other organizations to design, build, and run comprehensive supply chain solutions”, Wikipedia.

“It is a logical move for us at Iffel, we are experts at deriving functional marketing programs to increase sales, and key to completing a sale is delivering the goods to the buyer(s)” says Hema Dey, President of Iffel International Inc. “We have now established strategic alliances to offer robust value added supply chain advice, for inbound shipments into the USA, warehousing and distribution”.

With her passion in international and domestic trade, Ms. Dey has created hubs on the West Coast and East Coast of the USA welcoming a range of solutions for vendors wanting to expand in the USA. “Imagine this, you are manufacturing off shore in New Zealand, Australia, or Europe and want to grow your business in the USA. All you have to do is deal with Iffel and we will be your beachhead in the USA, providing sales, marketing and full service logistics solutions”, Ms. Dey comments again.

With offices worldwide, Iffel International serves as a sales, marketing and logistics department. Iffel was founded in 2006 in Christchurch, New Zealand and has its head office in California, USA. The 4PL concept is perfect for manufacturers of mid to high-end consumer products be it B2B or B2C supply chain models, this includes E-Commerce businesses.
